Connecting to cloud data sources
Honeycomb Maps supports connecting to common cloud data services using OAuth. Once connected, data sources can be selected from these providers.
Here is a list of supported services:
| Service | Status | Supports SQL |
|---|---|---|
| Google Drive | Available | ❌ |
| Dropbox | Available | ❌ |
| Box | Available | ❌ |
| OneDrive | Coming Soon | ❌ |
| Snowflake | Coming Soon | ✅ |
| BigQuery | Coming Soon | ✅ |
| Databricks | Coming Soon | ✅ |
Adding a connection
Click on Connections on the left-hand sidebar to view the connections page.
Click on Connect next to the service that you want to connect to. This will initiate an OAuth flow where you will log into the cloud service, and it will ask whether you want to allow Honeycomb Maps to access some of the data in your account.

Once the connection process is complete, you will be redirected to the Connections page, where you should now see the service listed as an Active Connection.

Removing a connection
You can remove a connection by going to the Connections page, clicking Manage next to an active connection, and then clicking on the red Remove Connection button.

Once a connection is removed, all data sources that depend on that connection will fail to load.
Most cloud services also offer functionality to remove connections to third-party tools like Honeycomb Maps from their side.
